In-mould-coating (IMC) is an effective option for surface treatment of polyurethane parts. Using IMC creates a special functional layer on the part that provides both flexibility (Shore A 15 hardness) and abrasion resistance. With IMC you can colour the part (all RAL, RAL Design, HKS, Pantone, NCS shades or their colour samples available) or equip it with special properties such as flame retardancy, conductivity, antibacterial and biocompatible surface, etc.
Solvent-based IMCs dry very quickly in moulds and are suitable for low and high temperature moulds.
Available in kegs, shavings and special small quantities according to customer requirements.
